features and share your feedback.

This is a demo so we we'd like to set the right level of
expectations and also to share basic
rules
to make sure that your Somari experience is good.
Things can break.
This a demo of our work in progress. We strive to offer a bug free experience but you might still encounter one here and there.
Do not enter personal/sensitive information.
Everyone using this demo is able to see changes that others do. So be careful when you are entering test data and only use dummy non-identifiable information.
We reset the database from time to time.
Some updates will require us to reset the database and all the content that you might have entered will be erased.
Feedback is highly appreciated.
The best way for us to improve to is get your feedback, first hand. This is what this demo is all about.
We have added the ability to browse HDX Signals from within Somari! We're continuing to make it the one-stop-shop for all things SRM.
If you missed it, Signals is a service that monitors key datasets and generates automated emails when significant, negative changes are detected.
Security Plan Validation
New
Organizations often struggle keeping their security plans updated on a regular basis. With Somari's Security Plan Validation feature, this becomes seamless 👌.
Data Explorer
New
If you've ever had to update a security plan before, you probably had to browse multiple websites providing SRM related data, filter it out and make sense of it. It's tedious and time consuming. Not anymore!
With the Data Explorer you get curated information directly in Somari as you are working on your security plan. All in one place.
April 2024 Update

Drive and PDF export also available.

Drive and PDF export also available.

Drive and PDF export also available.
You can navigate between country and site documents with ease.

Improvements
Evacuation Plan
We’ve added a tab to the Evacuation Plan. In the tab called “Evacuation Plan” you can now write a comprehensive document as you would with MS Word. As usual you can export it to PDF and add files to the Drive.
In the Itineraries tab we have now added markers to clarify where the start (A) and end (B) of the itinerary is.
Somari On A Mobile Phone
Improvement
Accessability is an important feature of any product. It's a constant work in progress. We're starting by making sure that Somari is fully usable on any device. Today's video shows you how Somari looks on mobile browser.
Staff List Feature
New
The Staff List feature is the internal address book for all your staff, including the ones that do not have Somari accounts (ex: drivers, guards, ...). It's a simple and efficient way to share contact information within your organization.
You will never again waist time entering contact details manually on your phone.
Ability to reset the Security Level of a site
Improvement
You can now reset the Security Level of a site. This is helpful in case you are still working on the evaluation of the security indicators and what set the site value later. Or if you had set it by mistake.
A More Readable Breadcrumb
Improvement
The breadcrumb is located at the top of every page and serves two basic purposes:
Tell you where you are
Allow you to navigate back where you came from
We've just made it so the last item of the breadcrumb, indicating which page you currently viewing, a little bigger to attract more attention and help you find that important information.
Evacuation Plan / Itineraries Feature
New
In high-risk contexts, you can't build a Security Plan without an Evacuation Plan. One of the things that you'll need to do is to specify the evacuation itineraries that your team can follow.
With Somari you can easily create custom itineraries for your Evacuation Plans. This is how it works:
Either search for a landmark or just drop a pin on the map to specify start and destination.
Drag the route to add any waypoints that you need.
It's that simple. Watch the video below for a demo of the feature.
Security Plan - Reordered Navigation Tiles
Improvement
The tiles in the Security Plan allow you to navigate each tool. We've reordered them, both for countries and sites, so that they better reflect the structure of an actual Security Plan.
Security Level Feature
New
Although each context is unique, organizations need to compare, in some aggregated way, the level of security of each site of operation. This is done by setting the Security Level of a site.
This feature is implemented as follows:
Score a set of indicators from 1 to 5. Each level has a description in order to increase consistency of ranking across countries and sites.
Indicators are grouped in categories.
Both indicators and categories are customizable.
Give the site an overall score (from 1 to 5). The security manager manually aggregates the score of all indicators to account for context specificities.
Watch the video below for a full demo of the feature.
Risk Assessment - New Widget For Initial/Residual Levels
Improvement
We've added a widget that allows to quickly see the Impact and likelihood that make the initial and residual levels of a threat. You just need to hover your mouse over the levels for the widget to appear.
Risk Assessments Feature
New
The Risk Assessment is one of the key tools of any Security Plan. Somari implements the widely used Impact x Likelihood approach. But we've improved basically everything else:
An much improved table navigation
Searchable threat list
Suggestions for vulnerabilities associated to the selected threat
Suggestions for mitigation measures associated to the selected threats
